This newer Bird on the Hand venue brings our much-loved experiences closer to London, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire and the Home Counties, offering the same personal, hands-on encounters with birds of prey that have delighted visitors at our original Market Harborough site for over 20 years.

Getting Here
By Car:
Alders Farm is just 10 minutes from central Milton Keynes and around 15 minutes from junctions 13 and 14 of the M1.
From Milton Keynes, take the A4146 towards Leighton Buzzard and turn onto Ivy Lane at Great Brickhill. Sign posted on the left just after Great Brickhill.
From Aylesbury or Bicester, follow the A418 towards Wing, then join the A4146 northbound.
Public Transport:
Milton Keynes Central is around 15 minutes away by taxi. Regular direct trains run from London Euston, Northampton, Birmingham New Street, and Manchester Piccadilly.
Some visitors also find Leighton Buzzard station a convenient alternative, particularly when travelling from London Euston or southern Buckinghamshire. It’s roughly 10 minutes by taxi to Alders Farm. Taxis are available from both stations, and pre-booked transfers can drop you directly at the entrance.

Here you can fly hawks, owls, falcons and buzzards in open air, under the guidance of our experienced falconers. Sessions are deliberately small, ensuring plenty of personal time with the birds and opportunities for photos.
