We had a super spectacular day with Andrew at Bird on the Hand with friends and our 2 teens. We got to be up close and personal with some glorious birds and developed such a huge respect and awe for them. Andrew is a master with the birds and full of interesting insights. It was a grand as well as fun experience and we felt super taken care of and at all times completely safe. Thank you Andrew and team. Highly recommend.
I took my son to a birds of prey experience, it was a great half day of viewing many different birds of prey, owls, hawks and eagles ( I hope this I remember correctly it could of been falcons) Andrew was wealth of knowledgeable and made the day fun for the adults and the children alike I would highly recommend him and his birds

This was honestly the most AMAZING experience!! The birds are gorgeous and Andrew is so informative! I didn’t have any questions but I loved that other people did so that I actually got to learn more.
Andrew is an incredible host, he makes sure that not only do you get the PERFECT photo opportunity but that you’re all having a great time and all have hand plenty of one to one with the birds.
I had my 5 month old baby with me and Andrew was so lovely about her being with me and she honestly loved it! I cannot wait to come back!!

We had the most amazing day with Bird on the Hand!
It was my partner’s 70th birthday and I booked this as a surprise for him (private group session). From the moment I got in touch, Andrew couldn’t have been more helpful.
The day itself was a delight with Andrew and Charlotte sharing their extensive knowledge about their beautiful birds – falcons, hawks, owls – and in a lovely tranquil setting we really got to know them close-up, truly special. My partner was overjoyed by it all. Thank you so much 🙂
My wife and I attended Bird on the Hand for a morning session and had an amazing experience! Andrew and Charlotte were both really knowledgeable about their birds, the history of the craft, and answered all our questions throughout the day.
They had birds from all over the world including various Owls, Hawks, Falcons and Eagles, and they were all clearly well cared for! Charlotte took us for a hands on flying experience with a few if the birds, namely Fletcher the Tawny Owl, Elvis Eurasion Eagle Owl and Midnight the Harris Hawk.
We also got the opportunity to go on a Hawk Walk with Midnight through the woodland which was another great experience! And we got to witness Gerda the Gyrfalcon showing an midair hunt and aerial interception of a Crow, (remote control drone controlled by Andrew). All around amazing day with great people and awesome creatures.
Would highly recommend as an experience to anybody, regardless of if you usually like or dislike these animals, as they really are so majestic and interesting to meet.
