Falconry Events and Private Experiences
Bringing the Wonder of Birds of Prey to Your Event, School or Care Home
At Bird on the Hand, we don’t just run experiences at our countryside venues — we also bring our trained birds of prey to you.
From private family gatherings and school visits to care homes and corporate events, our falconers can tailor an engaging, educational, and memorable display for any audience.
Our outreach events combine storytelling, education, and close-up encounters with hawks, owls, falcons, and eagles — always with a focus on welfare and engagement.

Care Home Visits
Our falconry visits are a much-loved activity for care homes across the Midlands and South East. Each session offers residents a calm, uplifting experience as they meet and learn about our gentle owls and hawks.
The visits create a sense of peace and fascination, often sparking smiles, conversation, and memories. Residents enjoy the chance to get close to the birds, watch their quiet behaviour, and ask questions in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Every session is safe, gentle, and fully adaptable — suitable for lounges, gardens, or communal spaces. Our falconers tailor the visit to your residents, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably, whether watching or handling a bird.
These experiences bring nature indoors, encouraging connection, curiosity, and genuine joy — often becoming one of the most talked-about activities of the year.
